“AI Ornament” investigates on new paths for material intelligence. It
leverages the computational power of AI to manage hyperabundant data sets, to
generate higher levels of resolution, intricacy, and ornamentation in material
design. An AI model was trained on a 100+ image teaching archive of a
Hyper-Ornament research in 2020. This dataset was further augmented to a 500+
image data set utilizing machine learning procedures to enhance the training
and the variety in resulting the latent space.
